Keith Tyler

Keith is an advanced life support paramedic and emergency care practitioner who started his career as a volunteer with St John Ambulance in the UK. He passed his first ‘first aid’ course at the age of 9 and has been hooked ever since! He practiced with the London Ambulance Service for much of his career to date although he has worked in the private and voluntary sectors as well. In addition, he has been an instructor of CPR, first aid and paramedics for over 10 years.

Living in Vancouver with his family, Keith splits his time between Examining (EMALB), instructing (Health Sciences Division & Fire Academy), maintaining his clinical skills (BCAS) and curriculum development. All the while developing a family based curriculum development and paramedic information business. And amongst all this, he still finds time to spend with his family. Of his numerous academic achievements, he is most proud of his postgraduate Diploma in ‘Immediate Medical Care’ awarded by the Royal College of Surgeon's in Edinburgh.
